The lamp is enclosed in the top of my interference tester (no light
leaks out), and must first pass through both a diffuser and green
filter. Then it passes through the two-way mirror and is reflected by
the mirror on the way to the viewing point. There has to be little,
if any, UV getting to the viewing point.

Edmunds Industrial Optics has no warning labels on its monochromatic
light sources, which use the same bulbs.

Why aren't there UV warnings on black lights? Are they really
dangerous? Party-style black lights filter out the green emission,
but they still let through the short wavelength stuff.
