Mike,
  Nice page - a good addition to my link list.

I would add a polishing agent tip:
Before starting, add your CeO to a tall jar with water and shake.  (Some 
people add detergent to help break up clumps)  Pour off the top  into a 
separate jar after a minute or two and let that settle (during the time you 
are doing the initial polishing).  Use the coarser stuff still left in the 
first jar to get your initial polish.  The finer stuff in the 2nd jar can 
be used at the end of polish and during figuring.

Doing this I've eliminated scratches and sleeks using W-B CeOx.
