Mike,

At first reading, your figuring article looks like a readable, useful 
document.  Thanks.  I will use it this week in my workshop and give you some 
more detailed feedback on it.  I presume you intend it for the public 
domain, and don't mind my printing it out with your title and copyright 
notice?  Alternatively, I could just distribute the link to your site.
