Inside the ROC, the bands should be wider at the center than at the edges
and the shape of the lines should be sort of barrel shaped. This indicates
that the center's ROC is shorter than the edge which is what you want.
You had frostiness at the center because the grinding ended up with a
hyperbolic shape rather than a spherical shape. This ended up with the
center being the last fo polish out as your polishing tended to produce a
spherical surface more than a hyperbolic one and the center finished up
last.
