[ATM] Figure to the Parabolic

   To all on the list,

      I would just like to say that Mike, has hit the nail on the head...... 
You can get to the end
of the road in many ways.. If you have to go back to a spherical surface and 
you feel it is an
easy way to go to the Parobaliod,, Go to that. There are many on this list 
that have the experience
to see this surface inside or outside of the classic spherical surface and 
can go to the promise land
without "going  back" ... This all take's experience...If you are unsure,   
go back. If you are
experimenting ... dive in and break new ground ( good luck)... But the end 
result is in the eyepiece.
     Don't be afraid of this piece of glass... When you get down to 
figureing, you can bend this
fun mirror any way you want,  and then bring it back again,  ... If you have 
time.. If not, find
