Re: [ATM] Focault Problem

Thanks to all who answered.

1. This is my first experience making a mirror. Lots of fun and lots of
new stuff to learn so far. I can determine the ROC, and the mirror darkens
all at once, I can see the shape of the mirror, a sphere with a slight hump
in the center. I just thought I was doing something wrong after seeing all
the nice images on the web. I have not started measuring yet, as I am not
able to get it complete polished out to pass the laser test. I am
suspecting my CeOx but will ask that question in a separate thread.
2. It is a slitless tester, moving source, with the same KE over both
source and viewing port.
3. Since everybody sees the lines to some degree, I will learn to look
through them. Moving the KE further from the source did not seem to help
initially, but I will experiment further.

Thanks,

Kurt
