[ATM] Why Prescriptions Required?
I can go to any drug store and buy cheap reading glasses with positive
diopter powers right off the shelf. But the negative diopters needed by
persons with myopia require a doctor's prescription and are very expensive.
Does this mean that if I fabricate a lens of negative power, this is
equivalent to cooking home made meth, crack, or other controlled substance?
Will the DEA people be raiding telescope makers next?
At least we don't execute people who wear eyeglasses like the Cambodians
did in the 1970's.
