Sorry I should have known that. I used TEX.EXE to produce the mask and run
the numbers. I also put the numbers into FIGURE45.EXE which I feel gives
me a better visualization of the serface.
Here is the output from TEX.
TEXEREAU MIRROR TEST SHEET

Reading set 6: 1 / 6.3 lamda, Max Trans Abberation=1.40
Reading set 7: 1 / 5.2 lamda, Max Trans Abberation=1.71
Reading set 8: 1 / 4.9 lamda, Max Trans Abberation=1.94
]Generally, move the knife edge outside the focal reading and cut into the
]light cone. You should see a smooth curve like a ( or a ) for the
]shadow edge when you cut into the light cone. (Curve depends on how far
]in you cut and which side of the focal region you are on.) If the curve
]is smooth with no kinks or inflections, and is symmetric about a
]horizontal centerline, you are probably OK.
]Please don't repeat any of this on the ATM list. It was taught to me by
]Tom Cave before he passed away. Tom didn't believe in any of that
]computer hocus-pocus, and his mirrors are highly respected.
