[ATM] TDE, Ronchi, Knife edge

   Hello all,    Well here I am again still working on that damn TDE.
    I know all the answers that I have been told and remidies listed to
take care of this problem ..  I have been using them.. I have asked this
Question 2 times and have not gotten an answer from anyone yet (just a 
response
of how to get rid of TDE)....... the question is.... My "original" TDE 
veiwed
with the Ronchi-gram had slow turning curves on the edge of the outside of
the "circle".  My "current" TDE shows the edges with a hard angle towards 
the circumferance of the circle., but much closer to the outside of the 
circle.
     AM I going in the right direction to correct my TDE????
  (I hope my description is understood)

   Question 2......  When using a Foucault tester ,  does the knife edge 
have to
intersect your eye view as it intersects the light slit, or can the knife 
edge
slice the light slit with no obstruction to the eye by the knife edge???
In other words , do I have to split my eye view with the same edge splitting
the light slit???  I hope I have conveyed my words that they are understood.
               PS  I did see saturn and jupiter through my uncoated mirror
tonight, blurry but I could focus to orbs and the ring was obvious.
