[ATM] Testing question

A high stand for polishing will indeed make it hard to apply pressure evenly
on a lap when polishing! The tendency with a high stand is to apply
pressure to the close end part of the lap when pushing away from the person
and this is the stroke that gets rid of TDE in a mirror. The first part of
the stroke is the heaviest and when the lap gets toward the center of the
stroke, the pressure is lifted and that keeps the edge from getting the
forces needed to wear them to the rest of the surface.
