That would be OK if you were going to do a classical Hartmann, but the 
webcam Hartmann expects a checkerboard of square holes.  You'd have to cut 
the holes in the strips, then displace every other one by the hole 
spacing.  It doesn't sound any easier to me than cutting out the holes with 
an X-acto knife on a sheet of paper.
