No, I'm not sure of anything any more. I am using a slitless tester (does
this make a difference?). I am cutting from the right (standing behind the
tester looking at the mirror) I am starting inside the ROC and moving the source
and knife away from the mirror. Outer zones null first as I move away from
the mirror, then the inner zones progressively as I move away from the mirror.
This is what has me convinced that I have an oblate spheroid and not a deep
hole, but I may not know what I am talking about, since I have never done this
before. I can send some photographs of my tester, etc., if you give me an
e-mail address that can accept attachments. Any help would be appreciated.
