Sunday's Los Angeles Times had a front page piece
on the Hawaii telescopes. It seems that the telescopes are offending
the sacred goddesses of the Hawaiian people. The problem is that the
Times' reporter wrote as if the spirits and goddesses actually
exist! That kind of anti-science reporting can destroy
us.
