Numbers and equations aside, the lowest, or highest, or mediumest allowable
magnification is ultimately a matter of what the viewed image makes happen
in the neurons of one's brain.  As long as you hear, "Oh, Wow!" as people
step up to the eyepiece, the magnification and exit pupil are just fine!  If
it looks good, view it!

And Richard, even though exit pupil abuse is rampant here in New Mexico, the
magnification police mostly just look the other way.  ;^)
