ATM The cost of Dave's telescope

Hi,

I'm posting this mail to the list, since Dave is in
Boston and I don't know if he can read his e-mail.

Dave said that his 18.5" Dobsonian cost only $400. How
can this be? Dave noted that the Mirror is very thin.
Do thin blanks cost so little?
