RE: ATM stolen scopes & security
For my case it's more than just money. I mean, I will not cry or be
heartbroken if I lost my 8" SCT (or even a 3.5" Questar, if I had it). I
can always buy the same scope again, even if I have to save for years.
But it would be completely different if the lost scope was the one that
I made myself, espescially the ones being made.
The scopes that I'm making have value that is more than just money. I
didn't spend a dime for the mirrors nor for the tester nor the supplies
I need to grind the mirrors. All of them were gifts from some gentlemen
I know on the list. For me, the scopes have really high value,
something that I can not describe (even in my own language). I wouldn't
trade it for anything.
Maybe there are people out there who value their scope like me. Maybe
their scopes have historical values or sentimental values. Or maybe I'm
just too sentimental...
Well, it's just me thinking out loud.
