ATM Reducing chances of scratches

Hi,
   Just thought I'd send out this tip. When I polished my 6" for the first
time, I ended up with a terribly scratchy surface. The second time out I
followed Ingalls' advice of settling rouge through water to make sure its
cleaner. Another thing I did (the tip I'm talking about) was to spray the
room with water all over, especially around the windows and ceiling and
door, before actually sitting down to polish. This settled the dust in the
air - I live in tropical India -  and also kept it stuck to the floor. I
used a small spray bottle that's used to spray potted plants or by barbers
in India.
