It is a really old objective. It is not a Tessar. Someone on the
web told me that it could date as far back as 1918, but I don't
know if that information was reliable. That seems excedingly old.
If anyone has any clues to how I could find the real origin of the
objective I would be very greatful If you could help me. The writing
on the objective says:
"Carl Zeiss Jena Nr301751 Triplet 1:4.8 F=50cm *Fliegertruppe*"
And the diafragm can be stopped up to f18.
It would be really interested in knowing more about the history of this
objective. As this might be a little off topic it might be better
if you answered me privetly, and if anyone is interested in knowing what
it all gets up to tell me and I'll write whenever I find out.
Thank a lot for all your comments. I am learning a lot of things from you.
