ATM Follow-up to stripping silver

The general feedback was that oxalic and hydrochloric acids would not
remove silver. (I was trying to be cheap and lazy and use what I already
had in the basement.) I used ferric chloride (Radio Shack's PC Board
Etchant) and it worked fine. 

A word of warning, the etchant will stain just about anything a nice
bright yellow, so wear gloves and old clothes.
