ATM Teflon source

Here is a patented Canadian teflon product that I think is fairly new and may
have a good application in making Dobson mounts and mirror supports as well.
I recently found them a Home Depot and it looks like a new product. The
product is called "Magic Sliders" and basically an assortment of gray teflon
pads aadhered to a black rubber backing in which adhesives will stick. The
bond between the teflon pad and the rubber is permanent and very strong. The
pads come with scew, nails or a double sided adhesive foam pad. They also
recommend using Krazy Glue Gel or epoxy for added stenght. The company is
working on a web page at www.magicsliders.com, however, I checked it and it
isn't up yet.

I am considering using eight 50mm teflon pads on the base of my Dobson mount
riding on Ebony Star Formica. This is a gray teflon and many ATMers use a
white teflon. Do you know what the difference is?
