RE: ATM rotating mirror/tool instead of walking around them

    While making my first and only mirror (thus far) and using the 
rotating board, it did ocour to me that when rotating bottom piece one 
way and top opposite, that the top piece asppeared to wind up in the same 
position. I shrugged it off and continued to finish as mentioned.  After 
reading your post,i see now that i was fortunate not to grind in an 
astigmatic surface. I changed rotation pattern often and this may account 
as to why the mirror surface escaped astigmatism. I am very appreciative 
of the list and your warning and wish to say thanks.
