Hi, I am about to start a 10" mirror and though I have a long way to go before I start polishing, I was wondering if a mat pitch lap has any advantage/disadvantage over the one mentioned in Texereau? Balaji PS: Thanks to all of you who helped me get an estimate for an 8" telescope. Looking at the cost, I figured out, I could as well do a 10".
