I have recently built Berry's equatorial for 6".  I am pretty happy with the
way it turned out.  It's a pretty sharp looking mount and seems pretty stable.
But since my telescope isn't finished,  I have not had a chance to test it in
action.  The biggest drawback I see is the weight.  I build mine out of the
exact wood recommended and it's heavier than what I expected.  But, if
weight's not a problem, then I say "go for it".
