Hello All;

I've finally been bitten by the bug!  I was a journeyman cabinetmaker some
years ago, now an IS specialist.  I have a fairly complete shop in my
basement and all the hand tools one could hope for,  About wood and
machines, I need no help, but optics is another story.  I have a very
limited knowledge there and would probably be more interested in a kit
style project.  For sure, I wouldn't be grinding any lenses and would have
to purchase them for the project.  I'm looking at perhaps a 10" to 16"
project and would greatly appreciate any solid info as to the best in print
books to buy and even perhaps what companies to look to for components or
kits.  TIA to all for any and all responses.  Feel free to respond off-list
to keep bandwidth to a minimum.
