Re: ATM Eyeballs and Razor Blades



In regards to razorblade knife edges, I use a single edged razor blade
that I have lapped on a piece of glass with 9u a.o., with the blade held
90 deg to the lapping plate, and drawn back and forth with sort of
figure eight pattern, maybe eight strokes or so.  Under a 40x
microscope, the difference is very noticeable, normally there are little
digs along the edge of the blade, lapping gives you a very straight edge
