You got me.   Also, I have never seen such a thing.  I think other
people who are risk takers and scientific geniuses should spend
considerable time and money experimenting with these technologies so a
higher quality and lighter primary Newt mirror can be produced at a
fraction of the cost.  Be it mylar, spun epoxy resin, metal, or
whatever...    Then... sell me one.
