ATM 5" Bino Assembly questions
Hey all...
I posted this once before, and had only 2 responses, but neither
answered my question. I'm reposting this one last time, in case you
missed it the first time, or thought it was some sort of "joke". I'm
hoping someone can help...
I was given a set of lenses from a projection TV, which are housed
in plastic tubes. There are two lenses in each tube: one is convex (appx
5.5" dia), the other (appx 5" dia) is flat (referring to the exposed
surfaces), and there are a few inches between the lenses. My questions
are: 1) Can these be used to make a refractor? 2) Or, since I have 6
of these, can they be re-worked to make binoculars?
The only other info I have regarding these lenses, are that they
are made by US Precision Lens, in Ohio, and the particular style/type
are Delta II. I know that the info i've supplied is rather vague, but
that is all i've got to go on. I'm hoping someone knows something about
this, or can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance...
