I think it would be Selenium-coated, if you have the imaging cylinder.
I have one, 3 1/4 x 16 inches, from a big Xerox machine. It has a label
inside that says not to burn it, and that decomposition of the tube can be
hazardous.
It is a solid, nice looking tube, sort of bluish black.
Looks like a coat of clear Krylon would passivate it if you can't remove it
safely.
