ATM A sphere/Figuring

Finally a sphere...oh what a feeling!

Ok, after a week off from figuring I have finally gotten the small
ring at zone 1-2 gone. the whole mirror blanks out on the test stand all
at once. No funny little shadows. My lap is very thin now, I am going to
make a new one tonight since I don't want to start a new one in the
middle of figuring. Any real good tips from anyone to help me make this
'final'(knock on wood) parabolizing of my 8" f/6.67 mirror go fast and
with out alot of back and forth?
