My two cents on cutting soft stuff like RTV. Some time ago in my previous life we cut holes in rubber by freezing it with LN2 and drilling it on a drill press like a piece of wood. It left a nice clean hole. Anthony PS if you chill the mirror take it down slowly and bring it up slowly, Even well annealed glass can have proplems with large tempature extreams.
