Re: ATM Binocular Telescope



The bino chair, "Voyager", was in S&T July 1996.  (I have a photcopy
of the article at home.)  This is a completely enclosed  observing
seat with two 8" newts on top.  The altitude and azimuth of the 
chair is motorized.  I believe there is also a motor drive on the scope
"height" such that it moves up and down to accomadate different
height viewers. It uses a standard pair of binoculars for a finder scope.
It looks cool.
