I have an old Lotus 123 V2.0 spreadsheet that would compute a 27pt
cell (= wt on each point) assuming a 27pt cell is a 9 point cell supporting
the inner 1/3 of the weight, and an 18 point supporting the outer 2/3 weight.
The spreadsheet did a numerical integration on the mirror to find
the 1/3-2/3 weight radius & then the appropriate radii for the
9pts & 18 pts. The effect of mirror thickness and sagitta were
included, as well as a central hole, if any.
I used this for the 32" f4 Danciger telescope which had a 2" thick
primary.
