Re: [ATM] Books???

     The ATM book that I have enjoyed the most and that I have probably 
consulted more than any other is Sam Brown's "All About Telescopes".  The 
copy I have is very old and full of plugs for products from Edmund 
Scientific, the original publisher.  Brown's illustrations are quaintly old 
fashioned and the text sometimes sounds like a scoutmaster coaching a merit 
badge candidate but Old Sam knew his optics and the book is full of tables 
and advice that you will find nowhere else.  I think that someone (Willmann 
Bell?) bought the rights to the book but I don't know if new copies are 
still available.

Edmunds Scientific still sells it. (at least they did last Christmas). Lost
the link.
