[ATM] Schmidt Camera Corrector, beginners luck
Good News: I have finished grinding and polishing the face of the
corrector. With a 100LPI ronchi set just outside of focus (with a
backlight) the lines are nice and smooth and parallel when viewed from
~120 feet away.
So So News: I grabbed the wrong sheet for vacpan.xls and made all of the
corrections on one side instead of on two sides.
Not So Good News: The backside of the corrector is scratched from when I
trepanned it from the sheet of glass. Now I need to grind and polish the
back surface flat on a 6 1/8" diameter piece of glass that is 3mm thick.
Any suggestions?
