You may find the following graph helpful

http://www.atmsite.org/contrib/Holm/Plop_optimized_cells/design_space.html

which is part of this web site

http://www.atmsite.org/contrib/Holm/Plop_optimized_cells/index.html

which is hosted, along with a bunch of other useful atm stuff at this site

It doesn't change a whole lot, because the pertinent physical properties
are not that different. In principle, fused silica (often incorrectly
called quartz) can be a bit thinner than Pyrex, and Pyrex can be a bit
thinner than Plate. BVC is similar to plate in this regard.

Plop has the constants for Pyrex, plate and fused silica built in. You
just select the material you are interested in, and go on with the analysis.

The graph I referenced above was made using plate glass as the material.
It is the worst case. Therefore the graph is slightly biased in the
conservative direction for other materials.
