Surely wedge and flatness aren't intrinsic to a material?. You get what you
specify, be it Pyrex, Soda Lime, BVC or Zerodur. 1/20th wave,
Blanchard ground, sand cast or glob, it's up to you and what you want
to pay for. If you don't specify, well... (I know you wouldn't fall
into that trap Mike, but plenty of people would just 'expect' the
reverse side of a blank to be flat)
If your meaning was 0.015" is damned lucky if you didn't specify, I agree :)
