You might also want to try Floquil Engine Black (a model railroad
paint available in better hobby stores that cater to the model
train market) for an ultra flat black paint.
Unfortunately, the paint is only available in small bottles and
is better used for smaller stuff but the solvent based paint has
little binders in it and a lot of solids.
