As I recall, it was widely discussed on lists after its introduction a 
couple of years ago - and I think the consensus was it equalled or surpassed 
most if not all "rigid" filters - and certainl compared to mylar filters.
I personally find it very good (as well as cheap), and ideal to add to 
existing small telescopes - here is a 10" using most of a small sheet:

Of course, you should always secure it against falling/blowing off (I use 
screws), and also protect the filter material from scratches or other damage 
during storage - and replace it if you can detect many or large pinholes 
(since both sides are covered, pinholes let much less light through than 
they do on one-sided filters!).

And don't forget to cap the finder!
