Great idea. I will refer to it as the "perpetually peeing platform
patent", or the "PPPP". I will grant the trademark of the name of the
device (just "PPP") to the ATM list. :)

Those with patent experience and the "creator" (that's the name under
which Dann's messages show up in my email program - kind of spooky)
please keep hashing out the details of the patent language... as a
practice exercise. Don't forget to write applications for countries
outside of the US. No, I am not volunteering to proofread them, but I
have found patent applications to be a highly effective cure for
insomnia, even in the middle of the day. :)

Seriously, I'm not mocking Dann (poking a little fun at his email
address, though) - I actually like the idea of a very simple platform.
A friend of mine was going to do something similar with an inner
tube for some cheap tracking. I just thought it was amazing how much
legalese the post generated, and I had to make a joke.

However, I do think there are some serious challenges to be overcome.
Once those have been addressed, I'd like to see a one-hour unguided
exposure taken through a scope sitting the PPP. That will tell the tale.

My sarcastic post for the month,
	Mike Lockwood
