I have to agree with Jeff. This list is a great forum for finding how others 
have built EQ platforms and to gather ideas to refine your design. It is a 
poor forum to debate whether your idea is patentable or to tout the 
superiority of your technology over that of others.

In addition, your signature line (which is rather larger than netiquette would 
consider considerate) contains phrases like "SubArcSecond Tracking Accuracy!  
--   Visit http://subarcsec.com"; which sounds like spam, and upon closer 
inspection I see it leads one to a site on which you are selling pamphlets on 
this technology. Advertising commercial products is forbidden on this list.

Finally, the list traffic over the last few days has been dominated by claims 
and refutations of claims, to the exclusion of other topics.

For these reasons I must ask that (1) you remove the commercial from your 
signature in future posts, and (2) this thread continue off-list. We'd all 
love to help refine and share information about EQ platforms, and I'd love to 
see a new thread devoted to that purpose, but I think the current thread is 
more about IP, and less about EQ, as Jeff noticed.
