At RTMC I told some visitors that my "compact drive" had some
slip-stick issues, and one of them humorously remarked that I
could in all honesty say that I had eliminated periodic error...
just don't bother to mention that I've temporarily replaced it
with "random occasional error"... :)
Seriously, as an embedded systems designer, I have some thoughts
about how to deal with closing the loop in real-time, all as
yet to be proven of course...
