Pouring it down the sink with plenty of water.  Don't do this
with a septic tank system tho as the water flood will be a
problem.
Another is to put it out on the yard and spread it around so that
the earth can stabalize it without being overloaded.
The 80 grit I recycle until it is all finer grit.  Note that you
get a fair bit of wastage of the grit in most cases and the 80
grit is so coarse that it is easy to wash and recycle back into
the grit bottle.
