Here's a great find by one of our VacuumX Memers and hosted by theSociety of 
Cacuum Coaters.

This is a 1945 War department tech manual on the operation and maintenance of 
optical coating equipment.

Lots of great ideas in there, especially the section on seperating acromats by 
dropping them into 400F oil :0
