[ATM] Slicing thick blanks - who can do it?

Hi,

I was looking around for advice on who could slice a 24"-diameter, 
~4"-thick Pyrex blank into two thinner 24" blanks.  I searched the 
archives and found the exact same question

but no one appears to have replied with an answer (no replies that I 
see in the archives).

So I'll ask it again, and maybe it will get answered 9 years later - 
does anyone know a business/individual that can slice such a blank 
into two pieces?

I'm serious - a friend has real blank we'd like to slice and I'm not 
just asking hypothetically.  We'd prefer the kerf to be under 1/4", 
and it would be nice if the two new faces could be ground flat.
