[ATM] Gimbaled Secondary mirror
Thanks for the feedback; I'm not quite that far into the details of those
documents, I'm sort of distracted by playing with this offset gimbal. It's
going to take me a few days of work just to get into Inventor before I can
run it.
Decisions:
The focusing ram will remain in the design with no changes other than the
dynamic range will be reduced to 25mm. Using a 50000 spr Compumotor
microstepper driving a .1 inch precision lead screw (+-.00005) giving me a
positioning resolution of 0.000002 inches or .05 microns. I'll do this one
open loop as the error budget is 100 steps and that's being generous.
