Just looked at the final report from Perkin-Elmer on the system. They
actually state; "The back focus distance was measured to be 25.81 inches
(655.574mm). It should be noted that this can be adjusted +/- 5 inches by
changing the primary to secondary spacing approx. +/- .5 inches."

 

Funny I never saw that line, but I can live with that.

 

Gimbal designs anyone????
