[ATM] 16" Mirror Blank

I have a fine annealed Pyrex mirror blank originally from United Lens,
15.875" diameter, 2.875" thick, blanchard ground both sides and around the
edge.  I am seriously considering having GlassFab in Rochester, NY slice it
into two thinner blanks (cost $300).  I was thinking along the lines of
ending up with a 1.850" blank for my own use, and selling a 1" blank.  What
do folks think about the thicknesses of the two resultant blanks?  Will I be
able to sell the 1" blank, or should I split the original more evenly in
half?  Thanks.
