Tiles cut to the edge look pretty but that is all. I tend not to let tile
out to the edge and have no tile under the 1/2 area of a full tile just to
insure that the tiles don't start lifting and getting free of the plaster as
I have had such happen.
When working a ultra thin mirror, you want to also keep your hands moving to
different areas of the back to both keep the heat from your hands (wear
gloves will help in this dept.) and the pressure from digging holes in the
surface. You also want to keep the pressur from those hands down as this
will also keep from digging holes.
