Save your money Jerry, they can be tested by all of the "shop"methods. I
just recently tested one by auto collimation at the U of A Mirror Lab. Adler
insists on zonal testing. I just sent him an 8" flat so that he would quit
nagging me for zonal tests. Surely you know that the constant slope of a
sphere is easier to make smooth and zone free.
This thread was about using compression flexing to figure a paraboloid. Not
about flex mirrors maintained under tension.
