Hi,

Another nice way to bevel the edge is to find a spherical metal dish, 
like a wok. Place the mirror face down in the wok, add some fine grit 
and water, and stir. I forget what grade to use, but something 
relatively fine like 15 or 20 micron will probably do fine. This will 
produce a nice even bevel completely around the edge in only a few minutes.
